Pancho Villa in Little Rock / Mexico

There is an exhibit about Arkansas involvement in the search for Pancho Villa in Mexico at the MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History. It'll be going through the end of May!

Mexico isn't really part of Central America, but it seems it had an important cultural influence and served as a major refuge for intellectuals from CA and elsewhere during the early twentieth century. We've read about Sandino and Clementina Suarez spending time there.

I am very impressed with the people we've learned about so far!

If you look at both Mexican and Central American history, they have a LOT of similarities, especially when you consider the Mexican Revolution with the different revolutions in Central America. For example, the characters of Sandino (C.A.) and Pancho Villa (Mex.) are extremely common (womanizing, many children, heroes, etc).

Wow, awesome! I have read a bit about him, including some alternate history stuff that featured him prominently. Interesting guy. Apparently he was referred to as "El Centauro del Norte." Guess he rode well ;)
