Communism in Central America

Since we have been talking a lot about communism in Central America lately, I decided to research a bit about it. I of course went straight to Google and typed in just that, "Communism in Central America." This was the first site that popped up. It is extremely interesting not only because it gives a history of communism in a few different countries, but also because the person who created the page was an adult during the time of Reagan and has a personal opinion about the whole situation. I thought it was interesting to see how an American viewed everything. Here's the address:

MS-13 was formed by rebels that fled to this country from El Salvador, and then banded together for protection against already established gangs.

This also reminded me of a line often attributed to our presidents concerning foreign leaders. About to post a link about it.

This site was SUPER helpful. It gives a great breakdown of everything. Thanks for taking the time to find it.

The history of Cuba since the communists came to power in 1959 has followed the same patterns as communist nations in Asia and former communists nations in Eastern Europe; ensuing internicine power struggles for consolodation of power, continued atrocities and repression against all enemies of the new government, declining production of goods and services as well as standard of living.
