I find this really interesting. I looked at the actual case and its sad that there were at least 250 people killed. What's worse is that the government did nothing at the time. They did state that they feel responsible and do plan to "condemn" all who had a part in the event as well as the ones who did nothing to stop it or punish those who committed the crime. I'm not sure if Sosa is innocent but I would like to follow his trial to see the outcome.

"hitting them in the head with a sledgehammer and throwing them into a well" that plus the raping. I think this man deserves more then just 15 years in prison. this is really sad. i plan on following the trail as well. i hope everything is taken into account not only the people that he killed and raped but also the people that were left behind, like the victims families. muy triste. :(

Hopefully he will be punished and then in Guatemala, but wartime atrocities have a history of being overlooked. Seems like people often want to forget more than they want justice.
